The Winter Workshop on Psychosis (WWPSYCH)

The WWP is a cutting-edge research conference with plenary presentations, syposia, debates and workshops provided by acknowledged worldwide experts along with a series of presentations of recent study results.

The WWP will go beyond the limitations of diagnostic constructs and instead will focus on the core symptoms that make up the conditions we have come to term Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Bipolar Disorder.  The concept of psychosis itself will be considered as well as its role in these broader conditions listed.

Burning Issues in Psychiatry – BIPSYCH

Burning Issues in Psychiatry is a series of conferences, all focusing on Psychiatry. The main focus of the conference will change, based on the dominant issues at the time of the conference. The inaugural event took place in Beirut in October 2011 with the topic in focus being Bipolar Disorders. This first conference was very well-received and supported by 350 delegates, 28 speakers and 9 sponsors, as well as coverage by Lebanese Television.

Global Addiction

Global Addiction, the electronic portal for educational services in the area of addiction medicine. Addiction represents one of the areas of medicine that is least understood, yet generates an enormous burden on society, the medical profession, carers and individual sufferers.

Global Addiction is a knowledge-sharing facility for all involved in the understanding and treatment of addiction.  It offers the opportunity for all to link both on-line and at the biennial conference.
